Frequently asked questions
- Which European country has the best-rated dental clinics?
- Among the six countries analyzed, Spain leads with a 4.73 average rating per clinic, closely followed by Germany (4.72). France has the lowest average (4.51) and the highest share of 1-star reviews.
- What do dental patients complain about most?
- More often the front desk than the dentist. In 1-2 star reviews across all six countries, front-desk and access problems (service, booking, phone, waiting) are mentioned 1.01x to 1.82x as often as complaints about the clinical treatment: a dead heat in Spain, and the widest gap in the UK. Reviews can raise both, so the two groups overlap.
- How was the data collected?
- Listings for 8,727 clinics were collected from Google Maps across the 59 largest cities of the six countries between April and August 2026, together with 250,366 reviews. Every review with text was classified by a language model against a 10-topic taxonomy. Contact us for the full methodology and its limitations.
