How much do full-mouth dental implants cost in the UK?
The median published price for a full arch of implants in the UK is £12,502. That is the middle of 103 prices read off the fee pages of 53 practices on 10 August 2026. One in ten publish under £6,926 and one in ten publish over £18,000.
A full arch replaces every tooth in the upper or lower jaw on four to six implants, with a fixed bridge screwed onto them. Most published prices are per arch. A quote for a whole mouth is usually two of them.
The published market, end to end
Every practice that publishes a price for a full arch of implants is one tick on this line. Where the ticks bunch up is where the market agrees.
Each tick is one hundredth of the published market, for one arch.
Type a figure to compare it against 103 published prices.
What moves the price
- One arch or two. Read the quote twice: the headline figure is normally for the upper or the lower, not both.
- How many implants carry the arch. Four is the common design, six costs more and is offered where the bone is softer.
- What the final bridge is made of. Acrylic sits at the bottom of published prices, zirconia at the top.
- Whether extractions and a temporary set on the day are included.
“From £12,500” is not a discount. 197 practices advertise this treatment as a “from” price, and the middle of those headline figures is £12,500 against a median firm price of £12,502. The word buys the practice room, not you.
On the NHS
Not an NHS treatment
The NHS does not provide full-arch implant work as a routine option. A denture is the NHS answer to a jaw with no teeth, at the Band 3 charge.
NHS charges apply in England; Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland set their own. Figures from nhs.uk, read on 11 August 2026.
Questions people ask
- Is All-on-4 the same as full-mouth implants?
- All-on-4 is one design of full-arch treatment: four implants carrying a fixed bridge. Practices also publish All-on-6, and prices for a removable set that clips onto two implants, which is cheaper than either.
- Does the price cover both jaws?
- Usually not. Most of the 103 published prices behind this page are for one arch. Two arches at the median would be about £25,004.
How these prices were measured
This page rests on 103 prices for a full arch of implants, part of 39,049 prices read from 1,481 fee pages across 983 UK practice websites on 10 August 2026.
- Every figure comes off a practice's own public fee page. Nothing is a survey, an estimate or a model.
- One price counts once per fee page. A chain's branches all carry the group's list, and counting each branch would let one price list decide the market.
- Prices written as "from £X" are counted separately, not mixed in. That figure is the cheapest case a practice leads with, and it reads the market low.
- Prices covering a whole arch or a full set of teeth are left out of a per-tooth figure, because they sit at the top of every distribution.
- Only the 10th percentile, the median and the 90th are published. The extremes of a scraped corpus are where a mis-read price lands, and no single row can move a percentile.
- Lines that name a different job are dropped per treatment. Re-cementing a crown is not the price of a crown, and an extra whitening syringe is not the price of whitening.
